Honey Camembert with Smoked Paprika Almonds & Balsamic Glazed Grilled Peaches

A set of easy recipes to elevate your Summer Cheese Board, featuring camembert coated in honey and edible flowers, smoked paprika honey almonds, and balsamic-glazed griddled peaches.

Cook Time: 25 minutes

Equipment Needed: Baking tray, griddle pan




Smoked Paprika Honey Almonds

2 cups Raw and skinned almonds (300g)

1 tbsp Olive oil

1 tbsp Honey

2 tsp Smoked paprika

1 tsp Garlic powder

1 tsp flaky Sea salt


Balsamic Glazed Grilled Peaches

4 Ripe peaches halved and pitted

A Little oil to coat the peaches

3 ½ fl oz (100ml) Balsamic vinegar

1 tbsp Dark brown sugar

1/2 tsp Lime juice


Edible Flower Honey Camembert

Round soft cheese like Camembert

Nasturtium edible flowers or edible flowers of choice

1 Tbsp Honey


Smoked Paprika Honey Almonds

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F / 180°C / Gas 4

2. In a bowl, mix the raw almonds with olive oil, paprika, salt and garlic powder.

3. Spread the nuts evenly on a baking tray.

4. Bake in the oven for 5 minutes.

5. Remove from the oven, add honey to the nuts, turn them over and into the honey.

6. Return to the oven for another 2 - 5 minutes (Keep a close eye on them as they can burn quickly)

7. Remove from the oven, allow to cool.


Balsamic Glazed Grilled Peaches

1. Heat a griddle pan to medium-high heat. Coat peach halves with a little oil.

2. Place peaches cut side down on the griddle pan, Grill for 4 to 5 minutes per side

3. While the peaches are grilling, prepare the glaze. Add vinegar to a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Boil vinegar until it is reduced by half and looks thick.

4. Stir sugar and lime juice into the Vinegar, boil for a few minutes, then remove from the heat and set aside.

5. Remove Peaches from the griddle pan, when ready drizzle the balsamic glaze on top.


Edible Flower Honey Camembert
1. Just before serving, brush the cheese with honey. Add edible flower petals.
